Thermocycling
Thermocycling at Mawad Lab is a critical test used to simulate the thermal stresses that materials experience in real-world biomedical and dental applications. This process alternates materials between hot and cold temperatures to mimic the rapid temperature changes in environments such as the oral cavity.
Using the Mechatronik THE-1100 Thermocycler, samples, including dental restorations, implants, and other biomaterials, are subjected to controlled thermal cycles. This test evaluates the material’s resistance to cracking, delamination, and fatigue caused by repeated thermal expansion and contraction.
Thermocycling at Mawad Lab provides researchers and manufacturers with essential data on material durability, enabling the development of reliable and long-lasting products. Our precision equipment and expertise ensure accurate results that align with international standards for material testing.
