Dynamic Cyclic Fatigue
Dynamic cyclic fatigue testing at Mawad Lab evaluates the durability of materials under repeated cyclic loading and unloading. This test replicates real-world conditions, such as repetitive chewing or biting forces, to assess the long-term performance of dental restorations, implants, and biomaterials.
Using the Universal Testing Machine (Mecmesin Multitest 2.5-i), materials are subjected to controlled fatigue cycles at varying force levels. The test identifies material endurance limits and fatigue failure points, enabling researchers to improve designs and ensure reliability.
