Slow speed cutting
Slow speed cutting at Mawad Lab is a precise sample preparation technique designed to minimize damage and maintain the structural integrity of delicate materials. Using the Slow-Speed Diamond Cutter (SYJ-150), samples such as dental restorations, biomaterials, and implants are sliced under controlled conditions with exceptional accuracy.
This process ensures clean, uniform cuts without overheating or deforming the material, making it ideal for preparing samples for further testing, including SEM imaging or mechanical analysis.
